On the frosty morning of February 8th, 1782, a dark chapter unfolded in the annals of American history. The peaceful settlement of Gnadenhutten, home to hundreds of friendly Lenape Indians who had sought refuge from war, was brutally attacked by a band of Patriot militiamen. Driven by hatred, these men, led by the infamous Major John Sullivan, cold
